The Bulldog Challenge! What's it all about?

The Bulldog Challenge will celebrate the British sports car continuing to hold its own against the sports cars of the world.

After a fantastic start like the one detailed below, the actual route is a closely guarded secret, to be revealed day by day on the Challenge. Be assured every day will be different and bring new challenges, new stories for the bar in the evening and memories that will stay with you forever. Expect fatigue, expect exhilaration, expect the Bulldog Babes to welcome you at every venue with a warm smile and a cold beer... and expect something you have never experienced before. This is the Bulldog Challenge.

Whether you own a British or foreign sports car, old or new, you are invited to join us. So take up the challenge to drive through parts of Britain you may never have seen, to stay in places you may never have known and find out if you have... THE BULLDOG SPIRIT.

EXAMPLE DAY 1 - WILLIAMS F1 CENTRE TOUR AGENDA

11.00 Introduction by a member of the Williams F1 Team
11.15 Tour commences:

  • Briefing in reception & photographs taken next to JP Montoya’s winning F1 Car from the Brazilian GP 2004 – these will be printed and given to us on departure.
  • Walk through the Champions Gallery, view all the drivers that have been champions for Williams over the years.
  • Preview Theatre where we will watch a film showing how Williams F1 came to fruition and the amalgamation of the famous duo Sir Frank Williams & Patrick Head.
  • Tour of the Grand Prix Collection, a fully automated tour of the largest private collection of Formula 1 cars in the world. The collection spans the entire history of Williams, commencing with the inaugural Williams F1 FW06 up to the present day. Displays include Alan Jones' championship winning car from 1980, the infamous FW08 six wheeler, & many championship winning cars from Damon Hill & Nigel Mansell. Also there are special production cars, the 6R4 Metro Rally Car and the Renault touring car, concluding with a spectacular display of the BMW Williams F1 partnership cars since the year 2000, featuring Jensen Button’s first car in the year 2000 & JP Montoya’s winning car from the Monaco 2003 Grand Prix.
  • Technology Exhibition, an experience unique to Williams F1. Find out what makes one of the most successful Formula 1 teams in the world. Displays include telemetry, pneumatics, aerodynamics, drivers safety, BMW’s P83 2003 race engine, Williams F1 gear box 2001 to name but a few.
  • Trophy Room, amazing extensive collection of original trophies, including Williams' first championship win in 1980 through to first race winning BMW Williams F1 trophy at Imola in 2001. Some of these can be touched and photographed!
